The Elliott Wedding - Girl's Night Before

I only had a few pictures from the night before but it was loads of fun. Ashley got everyone stuff to pamper their feet with masks and scrubs and a soak and then I painted everyone's nails. I think it was the first time my mother had ever worn red nail polish, shes so trendy :P

Above: We are all letting our nails dry in the Hoke's basement.
Below: Em is getting a head massage from Ashley. She's in heaven being pampered all night!

The Elliott Wedding - Decorating and Rehearsal

The wedding was held at the Democratic Hall/Thomas Jefferson Hall in Hastings. There were a ton of people that showed up to help decorate and then for the rehearsal and cleanup the day after. These are just a few of the pictures from that.

The Elliott Wedding - Getting Ready

Emily made a 'Bride Suit' for the day of the wedding so she could get ready in it. It was soooo cute! This is on her little belly.

Below: Em in her Bride Suit with her veil on and Laurie Newton and Deb Elliott in the background.
Above: Ashley had to blowdry her curly hair before she could go get it done and it went poof!
Below is Casey doing Emily's hair before they put the veil in.

Above is Em's hair all done with the veil in, she looked amazing! and Below Jacob sent flowers to the Hoke's house where we were staying with a card addressed to Mrs. Emily Elliott and a note from him on the other side, and of course she cried, as did the rest of us.
oh and dont forget to pay the hair dresser, good thing we didn't forget anything!

I cheer for whoever has the ball....

So, I know absolutly nothing about the superbowl or even football for that matter. I do know that one day a year I get to eat good food, hang out with friends, take lots of pictures AND watch the commercials and not feel bad for actually laughing at them. L...I.F.E. had a get together at Greg's for the superbowl, who played in it again?...oh, yeah, the team in blue/orange (which by they way dont match one darn bit) and the other one with horseshoes on the helmets. Check.

Below are all of our random pictures from the night :)

Above: Kris you look so thrilled.

Below: Everyone let me introduce you to Jake. This is Jake's first appearance on here. I know he kinda looks funny (upside down and all) but he'll kick your butt watch it...

Above: OMG Chimmy had the guts to sit on Kris' lap. She got her bubble invaded!

Above: Sorry they didn't win guys...I rooted for them, well when they had the ball at least. That's my theory on football, I'm just going to cheer for whoever has the ball.
Below: I'm a sucker for anyone that wants to play with my hair and Amy spent about half the game braiding it. I was in Heaven!

25 and still having pajama parties...man I love L...I.F.E.

The church group decided to have a "Girls Night Out" at Kris' house. So since she is a Mary Kay Rep. we decided we'd make her show us how to be 'b.e.a.utiful'! (Below from L-R) Atina (Taskmaster), Monica (I never talk), Kris (KK), Me (Undertaker/Morticia), Amy (Double RR ), Kirstin (Doc), Kelly (Neusbaum) and Chimmy (Chiquita).

Above: Aww, Chimmy was soooo worried about leaving Zander behind but daddy Greg is doing just fine, and Chimmy you look beautiful!
Below: Kirstin just cant stant the lipstick that is the color 'paid for red' and I was a half a second from getting a pic of her with it on, till she shoved this napkin her mouth... : P

Providence Canyon State Park in Lumpkin, Georgia

In January I went to Alabama to visit Josh and Mar. When we were there Mar took us to the Providence Canyon State Park in Georgia (http://gastateparks.org/info/providence/). It's a giant canyon that is man made and was formed because of the farmers in the late 1800's that had poor land management with their farming. They created trenches for their seeds that then became gullies and then a canyon. All from water erosion. Below are lots of pictures of us in the canyon. You can hike down in to it about a mile or so and then walk around the entire canyon floor.

Below: The walls of the canyon are so soft that it's not surprising that they eroded away.

Below: This tree looks like its just hanging on by a thread and when I zoomed in (Above) you can see how it really is!

Below: More pictures of Mar, Teha and I at the canyon

Above: what you don't see in this picture is that about 2 seconds before I took this picture Mar sunk in the mud/clay mid-knee high.

Below: so after we went climbing on all the walls we saw this on our way out, oops.

Above: So, to get to the top you kind of have to climb over these randomly placed pieces of wood,,,they weren't meant to be a baracade were they?
Above: This is looking across the top of the canyon

Below: this is looking straight down the side.

Below: There was a church and cemetery on the way out and you know me I can't go anywhere and see an old cemetery and not stop.

Above: I thought this was short but sure said a lot about the man. Reminds me of my dad.

Above: This is an actuall road sign on the side of the highway. I couldn't beleive it!
